On the 20th of January 2020, Five innovative young New Zealand technology businesses kicked off the journey participating in the very first Vodafone xone Partner Series programme– a revamped version of the Vodafone xone programme, which has been running since 2016 to great success.
The first xone Partner Series programme saw Vodafone New Zealand and industry partner – Bank of New Zealand, co-deliver an intensive three months of mentoring, workshops and unique testing environments for fledgling these kiwi businesses. The aim being to develop and grow their businesses to a point where a corporate partnership or commercial deal is possible.
The developing ventures were selected for the programme due to their market-ready digital solutions designed to benefit small and medium businesses throughout New Zealand. The wide-ranging technologies include digital assistants using data analytics, artificial intelligence to act on voicemails, a 360-degree customer insights application, a “no-code” credit origination automation platform, and an end-to-end Internet-of-Things solution that will be able to leverage the Vodafone 5G mobile network.
